Afternoon,

Due to the high amount of spam bots this site attracts, I am forced to turn of all new registration's on the forum indefinitely. The wise know where to go for help.

Guides / New maps out for alterIWnet

Okay, since some of you are clearly dumb enough to not understand the alterIWnet post. I'm doing it here again.

STEPS:

  • Run iw4mp.exe
  • Your game should update
  • Then, run aIW2.exe
  • It should download another update
  • NOW, you will see that you have a new executable (.exe) in your folder. That is iw4m.exe
  • In order for that to work, you need the maps Oilrig and Gulag.
  • Thanks to my awesome friends at alterIWnet, they have uploaded these for you.
  • http://alteriw.net/getOilrig.php
  • http://alteriw.net/getGulag.php
  • Place the files in your /zone/english/ folder
  • Run iw4m.exe

Please understand the fact that the maps are still in BETA. You will come across glitches, but this was just made to show that we are making progress on alterIWNet.
